And now, my last batch of yuletide recs before the reveal!

Paramagnetic, Torchwood, gen. (yes, gen! as unbelievable as it sounds!) Jack, forming his team. This just blew me away - it has such small details and wonderful chracterizations and it plays with canon in the most wonderful of ways. One of my favorite yuletide stories this last year. I sort of didn't realize this was written for Yuletide 2006. Um. Oops?

Dream's Labyrinth, Pan's Labyrinth/Sandman. I'm really surprised this hasn't been recced everywhere - it merges both canons in a creepy, wonderful way, and it's just plain incredible.

Given and Won, Pan's Labyrinth. Princess Moanna, before and after living as a mortal. Very fairy tale-ish, and featuring the Faun. Quite lovely.

Rite of Passage, Leon aka The Professional. Mathilda, afterwards. This shows just how much Léon shaped Mathilda, and how she has to grow up and find herself on her own. Gorgeous.

Dancing Boys, Billy Elliot, Billy/Micheal. This is one of those stories that I never knew I always wanted. Wonderfully told, it just leaves you warm and contented.

There Will Be No Survivors (Except for the Survivors Behind the Curtain, But Pay No Attention to Them), Princess Bride. Westley wants to turn the Dread Pirate Roberts gig over to Inigo, but things aren't going quite as smoothly as he hoped. Hilarious and so very in character, I enjoyed this one so much. *g*

Isecurity Comics, Dinosaur Comics. OMG SO AWESOME. The text alone version was fun already, but seeing it in the template? SO. DAMN. ROCKING.

Before the End of All Things, Shakespeare's Hamlet. Modern day Hamlet and Ophelia, forced to tel the story over and over again. So much love for this story.

Hasta La Vista, commercials, PC/Mac. PURE LOL. Funny and - dare I say it? - in character and I especially enjoyed the Spam cameo. Hee.

ETA: okay, guys, this is getting ridiculous, I've already edited this post three times to add more recs. Um.
