No estaba muerto, andaba de parranda (feat. Supernatural recs)
I didn't have any class today (yay!), so I woke up at eleven, didn't change out of my pyjamas until I had to go to flamenco and basically, lazed around all day watching Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles doing interviews over youtube.com. It was nice. I was lazy as fuck, though, and I didn't write a thing. *headdesk*
Okay, Supernatural recs, for both
esohpe and
javajunkie13. :)
Miss It By a Country Mile by
onelittlesleep, my favorite SPN writer (which reminds me I was just about to go and delurk as a fan. Huh.) As Dean himself has said, spirits are predictable but people are weird, and this shows one hell of a fucked up community. The details in this are so damn good that you actually feel like you're in the town, like the poeple are real. Lovely, and it had me actually gasping at the end. All of her fic is awesome, though, try and check it.
Do Nothing For the Dead by
ladyjaida, Sam/Dean. How happy was I when I found out this author wrote for this fandom? A lot. Yes, it has a bit of incest, but hell, the plot is good enough that even I don't care. I love this Sam, lonely and needy and mourning in the only way he knows.
This Are The Only Illusions of Permanence by
ellipsisblack. The account of the Sam's first year at Stanford, through the eyes of John and Dean. This made me ache for them, the way they're so lonely.
The Days Don't End Here, My Friend by
trollprincess, Dean/OFC. God, I loved this one. This is a Dean that has to move on not because he wants to, but because he needs too, never aging, never dying. That's another fine point of this author, her OC are really, really good, and add into the main characters.
Straight On 'Till Morning, also by
trollprincess. Wonderful AU in which Mary lives. Wow, but this author really makes Mary alive. Life stays the same for the Winchesters, but my, does it improve.
The Smallest Version of Paraguay by
sevenfists, Sam/Dean, PG-13. Includes a hunt, a very, very confused Sam that manages to still be in character after all and just really good dynamics.
High Hopes by
wheebubbles. Fairy tales and the Winchester brothers. What more could one ask for? Lovely, haunting.
Damaged by
cherryscott, Dean/Jared. No, you didn't read wrong, it is in fact something out of crack that turned into something really, really angsty and good. Featuring a wondeful, broken Dean.
As it wasn't obvious already how much I love reccing fic. Ha. rec me back and make me happy.
Okay, Supernatural recs, for both
