Oh, Ale, you know I absolutely adore this, but I just had to tell you again. :D It's so achy in that angsty yet kind of happy way that only Winchesters can manage. And I don't think I mentioned this before, but I sort of love this line:

and yeah, Sam knows he’s a selfish bastard, but it doesn’t keep him awake at night.

Because he is and it doesn't, but we love him anyway. And that line just perfectly describes the fact that Dean not giving him something he wants is a possibility that just does not compute in Sam's brain.
