Nothing better than a dose of materialism to cure one's aches.

I had a somewhat shitty day yesterday and I've had week-long headache (really, since last thursday every. single. day. I've felt as if my head wanted to explode), so what did I do about it? Went shopping, of course!

here's what I got:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

(Kindly do ignore the shitty cut/paste, and concentrate on the pretty, plz, kthnx)The sequined one is my favorite. ♥ The green one's a bit big on me, but oh well, it'll be comfy. I was a step away from buying this weird red shorts that looked like a skirt, but then I remembered that I probably would never wear it again after next week. *le sigh* What I actually intended to buy was a white skirt to take to the beach next week, but I didn't find any. ;___; Oh well.

I also got Pan's Labyrinth and Marie Antoinette, yay! I... probably shouldn't have spent that much considering that Deathly Hallows won't exactly be that cheap, but I just couldn't resist.

Anyway, I found out on Wednesday that schedule registration is next week, and my turn is on Thursday, when I'll be in the beach. Fuck. (And I got a terribly late turn, too, I'm pretty sure all the decent slots for the classes I need will be filled by that time). Apparently, there's a cyber cafe across the street of my grandparent's apartment, and I'll just pray that it'll have a decent internet connection. I just-- it sounds simple, but class registration always makes me super super nervous, because I always end up with shitty schedules and bitching for the rest of the semester.

Still no impression post on OotP, because I'm too lazy to write it, but I can say that I liked it overall. It had its weak spots, like every book adaptation has, but for the most part it made me smile in delight a lot and squee madly at some times. I'd never gone to a Potter premier at midnight (I KNOW!), and the atmosphere was so cool - people clapped at the beginning and whoop'd at the end and boo'd at Fudge and cheered at the Weasleys all the time, and it was just really really nice. I might go see it again tomorrow, yay, and I'll probably do a decent post about it then.

Aaaaand, because I'm such of a self-pimp, there was original fic yesterday, MitomanĂa and its translation, Mythomania.
