I can't believe I'm just discovering this! I'm really, really shocked. I'm always tirelessly on the hunt for good Will/Elizabeth stories and I think this is one of the best post-AWE stories I've ever read!

Most of them tend towards the angsty - even the ones wherein the curse is broken after 10 years. But yours really captures everything that made the first movie so great - the humour, the hope, the sense of adventure, and even the angst. I have to repeat what everyone else has said - this is without doubt what happened between the beginning and the end of the credit sequence of the third movie. This is what happened. Without a doubt, this is how those ten years went.

The tension dissipates after that, and they can finally look on another in the eye. Elizabeth’s always known life is no fairytale, but knowing that happy endings hardly ever come true unless you fight for them makes her feel as if she’s finally grown up.

Bravo! Just bravo! If you ever write anything more Will/Elizabeth, please, please let me know. ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
