wow, that was a lot of cleavage. But flowy dress is pretty. And inconvenient.

So yeah, have started watching Legend of the Seeker. It's pretty bad, in that so-bad-it's-sort-of-good kinda way, very much like Merlin. Only, it's less fun, less slashy, and has more slow-mo. But yeah, it looks all right if predictable, very archetypal.

I'm kinda cheap for sword fights and flowy dresses and magic, I must admit, so I'll keep watching for the moment.

Also, I read Her Fearful Symmetry last week, finally, and I loved it. No, it's not as good as The Time Traveler's Wife, but it is really different, which is what I think Audrey Niffenegger was going for. It's still engrossing and intimate and shocking, so that's all right. The ending was a bit brutal, though. I read most of it in one day, I couldn't put it down, lol. Anyone else has read it?

By the way, how do I go about buying that a la carte icon new thingy? I think it wasn't that expensive and I could do with a few more icons.

Yeah, it wasn't as engrossing, character-wise, and I guess it's because they're all inherently less likeable? I mean, they're unique, and well-crafted, but they're not as charismatic as Clare and Henry were. But yes, the ending had me going 'but it's unfair!' quite a lot. I do like that Audrey stays away from normal, happy endings, but that one was so creepy and disturbing.
