Oh my god this is just so amazing and beautiful; I've just been sitting here for a few minutes after reading it, feeling emotional and trying to compose my thoughts. I think you captured Amy's sadness well, and I loved all the little gaps in her memory that she couldn't figure out; somehow I imagine that this is somewhat canon, in terms of how she remembers her life now. I loved the Doctor, both his hints and attempts to get Amy to remember, as well as his eventual giving in and being "selfish."
