old school fic cravingsss

Isn't it weird how there's things that squick you real bad in real life and yet you find totally hot in fiction? Yeah, for me it's that 'hot for teacher' cliche. I get really grossed out by real teachers screwing around with their students, as they're in a position of power and trust, and they're just abusing it, and they sould all be fired and probably heavily researched and fined. (I guess it's different with uni students, but it's still a bit icky).

And I'm such a hypocrite, because in fiction? OMG SO HOT. There was a Remus/Sirius fic that I followed something hardcore in which Sirius makes a bet with James for how long it would take him to bed the new hot DADA teacher and there's lots of tension and sneaky kissing and of course Sirius falls properly and then he finds out about the werewolf thing and he's a dick to Remus because this Sirius never spent his formative years helping a sickly and terrified twelve-year-old Remus after a transformation, and Remus is all heartbroken and Sirius still wants him but is conflicted AND THEN THE AUTHOR NEVER UPDATED EVER AGAIN.

To which I say: totally not fair.

Ahaha, I would totally ask for a link to that fic -- but since it doesn't have an ending that would probably lead to heartbreak. The hot for teacher cliche totally gets me, too. I love it in fic, I have had way too many silly crushes on profs, but the idea of it actually happening? NO THANK YOU.

I don't even remember the title or author! I was reading it in FF.net, that's how oldschool it is, haha. I almost DON'T want to find it, because I have the feeling it wasn't as well written as I remember it to be. Yeah, actually going out with a teacher sounds so skeevy, (after the first rush of dirtydirtywrong hotness, I assume) and I really give the side eye to anyone that does. But in fiction it can be soooo hot, omg.
