I've always thought it sad when people living in other countries don't teach their language to their kids, so it's nice to know you do get to practice it. :)
Well, my dad started to teach me when I was like, three; then I was in a bilingual school for a year and then no more classes until I was, uh, 8? From then on, I've always had English as a subject in school (I even had an American teacher giving Mexican History and we tortured him by asking him to say 'Parangutirimicuaro and Tepoztipotla XD), but the classes were always kinda sucky. Then I discovered fanfic, and since HP sounded lame and cheesy in Spanish, I moved over to read it in English (that'd be in 2002). Then I started reading real books, and then writing in it, and it's all just come on its own XD I haven't had classes for almost a year now, so I haven't had that much chance to practice it orally, but oh well.
