Alas, I didn't get drunk. It's all my parent's fault, they shouldn't have gotten back home that early. (AND NOW MY DAD IS LOOKING AT ME, AS IF I WAS SOME KIND OF ALCOHOLIC).

So, omniocular's September challenge, the AU extravaganza sounds like it'll be their most exciting challenge so far, and well, it's time that abuse take advantage of my member status. AND GEN IS SHINY ANYWAY.

So, the funniest possibilities, as in OMG please let someone do this, are:

14. Aberforth was the Headmaster of Hogwarts instead of Albus. Also, Hogwarts resembles an alehouse. With goats, perhaps.

18. The Dark Lord Bertie Bott poisons his candy and attempts to overthrow the Ministry of Magic and take control of the Wizarding World.

58. Harry gets a clue right after Voldemort returns and employs a crack assassination team to kill Voldie, thus keeping himself safe. Special points if James Bond has a cameo.

77. Crookshanks manages to eat Peter Pettigrew in PoA. Now what?

124. All of Luna's creatures actually exist. The heliopaths are plotting to take over the world with the support of the evil vampire Rufus Scrimgeour and Goblin-crusher Fudge. A crumple-horned snorkack escapes their clutches and persuades Luna that only she can foil their fiendish plans.

127. Fenrir Greyback runs for Minister of Magic. And wins.

141. Draco has a secret, there is more to the Malfoys than they seem. (His Veela blood makes Draco a hermaphrodite.)

163. Grawp. What a hunk. And eloquent, too. *swoon*

And the most promising ones, as in waaaah, I so wanna write this, are:

28. Harry is the ruler of the Wizarding World.
I wanna write this because oooh, the potential for Dark!Harry! Or just Misguided!Harry, and his relationship with the trio and people in general. But dunno, I might try and do this later, or something...

95. The parents of a Muggle-born child pull them out of Hogwarts. How do they cope without a magical education?
Why yes, I'm thinking Hermione. It'd be awesome if such a good Witch had to go back to normal education, especially while trying to help Harry and Ron with the Horcrux search from the sidelines. But dunno, she's too loyal, and might go against her parents, so it could be, uh, Dean?...

115. Hermione chose not to attend Hogwarts. What happens when (sometime in her mid-teens), her incidents of accidental magic become so frequent that the Ministry decides to intervene?
This is the one I wanna do the most, although it'd pain me not to include the trio (well, knowing me, I would probably ended up including it...). I think I'll choose this one. And wasn't I saying just a while ago that I've never written Hermione!POV? This would be a good chance...

This sounds like a great way to get back in touch with Harry Potter fic, I have been neglecting this fandom for a while. *sigh* And speaking of fic, I still haven't figured out the plot of my XMM Ficathon. *ponders
