Sugary bones, destiny on the colored forehead

I have a week to do a color cube. Which is, um, something like this, only with 36 squares in each face, all of them different gradations of color. With acrylics, thankfully, because my damned teacher wanted us to use pastels. GUH, GUH, GUH I DON'T WANT TO DO IT. It's going to take soooo lonw. ;-;

Psychology of Perception ended real quick today, so I went to a close by lame mall with my crush to have ice cream. AND THEN HE MENTIONED HIS STUPID GIRLFRIEND AGAIN. God damnit, this is getting tiredsome. He even paid, and all. Although I drove him. huh.

It's a bit late to set up an 'Altar de Muertos' (Death Altar) to both my great-grandma and my uncle, which is a shame, considering how much I love setting up those altars, but I guess I should write some Calaveras anyway. Calaveras, (lit. skulls) are short, poem-like stories that mock someone's death, they're supposed to be funny and can involve anyone, from your dog to the president (hehe, the newspaper actually do Calaveras for the politics. They're incredibly funny XD). And well, I haven't written any since sophomore year of high school... And I've never tried translating them, it could be a challenge! And a present to my flist! *ponders*

Also, I want some Sugar Skulls. Yummy.

Ouch. That sucks. As for colour cube: What language/library will you be using? I'm pretty sure I've got a six-colour cube for Java somewhere... Wait. Acrylic. He wants to force you to do this by hand, when we've got so many useful programming languages (some even developed for 3D).... argh. @Crush: Sucks. But hey, let's take a look at the bright side - a) he wants to be friends with you, which is better than nothing, and b) you know what it's all about now. And yes, I know how you feel. As for Calaveras - er, has the person to be dead, or do you write in to "ward off" the death? Still, funny bit of information.

... No offense, but I'd take acrylics to computers every time of the day. But, you know, I've got an artist soul trapped somewhere in me XD

Nop, actually, hardly anyone writes Calaveras for the dead (although it does happen, of course). The last time I wrote one, it was about my literature teacher in my sophomore year of high school, and I showed it to him and he cracked up *g* No one ever takes offense of Calaveras, so you can do pretty much whatever you want with them.

Yo salgo hasta mediados de diciembre ;-; Mi vida es triste.

OMG. People would totally get stones thrown at them here for "mocking someone's death". XD You should definitely write Calaveras for us, they sound quite cool! *grins*

Hehe, I was going to write one for you anyway XD Nah, it's all nice fun, there actually are contests in school to write Calaveras about one's teachers. :)
