I saw Jeux d'enfants* today. a;lsdfjalsdjflasdjflakjsdf. I'd heard it wasn't your normal romantic comedy, but I sure as hell didn't expect that. Julien and Sophie have been playing a dare game since they were children, the dares escalating with the years. Visually, it was quite a gorgeous movie for such a dark content - and it fit, strangely. Ther characters were awesome, so well developed, and the way they end up so ruthless, being selfish to the bone... *shiver* Just. Wow. Just after Julien's almost-wedding, when he doesn't tell Sophie about the trail... God, that was such a wonderful shot. And on the ten year anniversary, Julien counting the things in his life and daydreaming what would have happened if he and Sophie had kept on playing, and it's so what would have happened - if they'd hurt others instead of each other. And then, when they meet again, the way they love each other so much, in such a twisted, obsessed way. the game idea was so ingenious, too. I LOVED IT. THE END.
*Now let's be bitchy about the title's English translation. 'Love me if you dare' sounds so cheesy and lame, and well, my language's romantic so I can't think of the title as anything other than the original meaning, 'Child's Play'. *shrug*
Um, what else. I have red hightlights in my hair again! It shines in the sun. Preeety. I laughed a lot with the Halloween episode of Dark Angel. Severed heads, yay!
Supernatural must be over by now, right? you lucky wenches, flist. XD
