So. I'm a lying bint.
Instead of staying home and actually getting myself to write yesterday, I went to a an AMAZING concert :))) The event was sponsored by the biggest French school in here, and my dad got me to with him since he though it was going to be more, uh, traditional, or something. Turns out I was the one that was dancing all hyper, and he was like 'OMG let it be DONE already.'
We went there at about 8, but the concert per se didn't start until 9, with this OK band with celtic influences. It was kind of weird being there with dad, since everyone else was about my age, but once the second band had started I didn't care anymore, because they were GREAT. Colder are apparently the new sensetion in Paris, and ohhhh, they deserve it. Smooth, with great sound, electrorock with a quite good vocalist (that was smoking just before he started singing *swoons*).
At the concert's peak, there were 500 people, max, which was far below what it had been thought it'd be, but everoyone got so into it, even if no one knew the lyrics XD That might have been the beer, though. (dad bought me two. How cool is that?) Then Rinôçérôse, the main band got on stage and it was OMG so incredible!! Quite heavy electrorock, with two amazing guitarists as liders (and they were SO hot. Both of them wearing pinstripes and one of them a white suit. God, I love pinstripes. Wonder if that's one of the reasons I love Ten so much...), and with two randomly switching vocalists, one of them wearing a HUGE afro and shaking his hips in the funniest way ever XD
Then came Porter, the local band that opened for Zoé in the concert I went not so long ago. They're getting quite popular in here, even when they're sometimes frown upon since the vocalist is batshit crazy, no kidding. He only sings in falsette, and while it sounds cool, it's confusing when he starts joking (badly) with his normal, deep, voice. And then there's the fact that he was painted as a mime. And had a Darth Vader TIGHT shirt and OMG-MY-RETINAS-BURN-orange shorts on top of black thights. Yeah. But they were great, and it was good to get to see them without the 'Get out now, I wanna see Zoé' attitude from last time. :) The concert ended at about 1.15 AM. And then we had to walk through the tranvestite-hooker zone to get a taxi. Um.
In all, I had a wonderful time. And the Hot Hot Heats and Kinky played today at 5 and I didn't get to go. Oh well.
I think the nasty neighbors are stealing the wireless, since it's SLOW AS FUCK and no fair, since Doctor Who will take ages to download!
