nekare at 09:04pm on 13/05/2006Well, the reading went well, only that there was about, fifteen people, and most of them were there because it was shade and chairs and they looked tired. *eyeroll* There were two other writers, a girl with a TOO LONG story that albeit cool, it got tiring after a while; and a very professional guy with really, really coloquial stories that were yes, fun, even if not that challenging, but he sure knew how to pick it, since the people liked them a lot. *shrug*
Oh well, this is resume-worth stuff, so that's all good. As I mentioned, this was the Muncipal Book Fair, so there were lots of stands and I bought:
- A collection of short stories that were first aired in a radio station, and that it makes me so proud of my University since it was from their editorial and OMG it has the BEST editorial design I've EVER seen. Different for every story. It makes me weep in joy. ;0;
- A ZOMG so cool comic book with thirteen stories, all by the best cartoonist of the state, as a tribute to Jules Verne. I'd been lusting after this for ages. XD
- The Kite Rider by Geraldine McCaughrean. I totally had already read three other children books by her, and I didn't remember until now when I went to check my bookcase ;-; her books are lovely.
Lira, a friend from Japanese class, lent me and entire Doctor Who saga with Four and Romana I!!! My brother probably won't be as happy, though, since he's the only one with a VCR in the house XD Waaah, I'm so excited about it! (And of course, for tonights episode. Afternoon's. Whatever. TODAY, YAYZ! What's taking so long, btw?)
AND: I seriously heart RAR and my USB Keys. I've passed four DW episodes today, and have burnt them all. My new DW CDs are pretty and wonderful and all mine and FINALLY my laptop doesn't seem like it's going to crash XD
My dad made Spagetti alla Rabiata today. It was great. He totally should have been a chef. :)

OH, and does anybody know how to change the font size for LJ? It was like this when I first got one, and then it got slightly bigger and prettier and now it's back to ULTRAMINI. I seriously can't read with the small tag unless I copy to word. T-T What can I do?
