Standing in the Common Places is a wonderful AU, futurefic, Smallville/Spiderman Movie crossover. With that premise, I really thought it'd be, you know crackity crack, but it turned out to be this wonderful character study. True, there's still a lot Lex/Peter Parker, but Peter's still frantic and utterly obsessed with Mary Jane, which might be my guilty pleasure. Clark is reaaaally good, which is odd considering that it's mostly comic!Clark, a shadow after Lois while with glasses and too impersonal and imposing without them. READ THIS. I just couldn't go to bed until I'd finish this at 3:30. Amazing. (And the ending is just WOW.)
And from the same author, something really, really silly but hilarious as hell. Frantic (Or, The Day There Were No Porkchops). In which there is goo. Lots and lots of goo. God, I laughed so much with this. Clark/Lex, NC-17.
But really, why am I in such a DC kick? Next thing you know I'll be reading Batman, or something... *shivers* XD
Nah, I joke. I'll be asking a friend to let me borrow Smallville's first season on monday - that is, of course, if she dares getting away from it. She the biggest fan of the series, ever.
