I went to the movies all by myself (ah, the joys of no longer depending on people for some stuff) to see The Fountain, and I actually liked it quite a lot. To the point where I cried a bit. One of those movies that you end up kinda confused and not getting what the hell happened but everything else is just so beautiful that you just don't care (but I just went and read some synopsis and wow everything has become much clearer). I loved the differences between the characters (mostly because they were played by the same people), and Hugh Jackman was awesome. Also, the cinematography and music were both kinda gorgeous, and the romance was so well done and perfect and it made me sigh quite a lot. Why was it so ignored in the Oscars? If they didn't get it, the visual effects are astounding enough to at least get a nomination in that... I really want to see it again, and once again I wonder, why the hell haven't I seen Requiem for a Dream yet? Even my brother loved it. *shakes head at self*
Anyway, I'm feeling tired so tonight's reviews aren't gonna be as long as my usual:
( Heroes 1x18 - Parasite: )Stupid April 23, being so damn far away. *mumbles angrily*
( The Black Donnellys 1x02: )
I got quite a horrible headache today - I just had to go and lay down and take a nap just so it would mostly go away. This is mostly thanks to my mom's genes (great thing to inherit, huh?), and I actually got it easy, considering that some of my cousins have this horrible migranes that have them laying on their beds crying for the pain to stop o_O Still, out of a week and a half, I haven't had a headache only TWO days. The rest? I've managed thanks to the awesomecakes of sedalmerck. *sigh* I'm thinking maybe starting some homeopathy treatment, seeing that it worked mostly okay for my mom.
