I'm still feeling like absolute crap, so I skipped my last class and came home to go on being miserable in here. ;___; I want this cold to be OVER, damnit.
I did have quite a satisfying talk about religion with my mom, though. She's going through some sort of existentialist crisis and is doubting all of the hard core Catholicism my grandma taught her to believe. Man, I'm so so thankful that my Catholic primary and secondary school chose to teach the best of the religion: help others, love people, be a good person. My high school, though, was a completely different story - they made us stand up between classes to pray and demanded money for EVERYTHING, the bastards. I thought it ridiculous and waved it off, but some of my classmates truly bought it, which is downright scary. One of the teachers once gave a class about how the whole Adam and Eve thing was just a myth and a parent went BERSERK and demanded for him to stop spreading such LIIIIIES, OMG. I mean, really, what the fuck? That's why I tend to distrust too religious people.
