Well, I saw Cloverfield today. Meh, it was okay. Truth to be told, the best thing about it is its WONDERFUL publicity campaign, which was intriguing and creepy and had me OMG SO EXCITED about it.~SPOILARZ~ )

Also, all of those people that had to go out of the cinema because of the shaky camerawork? ARE PANSIES. I get horrible motion sickness just about anywhere but I was pretty fine and chilling with a giant bag of popcorn and was perfectly okay.

They showed the trailer for Iron Man and I'm actually excited for it. Weird, considering my hatred for Tony Stark is somewhat unfathomable. I never truly liked the dude, but I can't stand him ever since Civil War. More than Captain America, even! *le gasp* (that's another weird thing. Civil War happens and all of the sudden I'm almost lukewarm about the guy. And I didn't even read far enough for his death! I DON'T KNOW.)

ETA: Oh, yeah, you want to know how the title was 'translated' in here? It was: Cloverfield Monstruo. WORST. MOVIE TITLE. TRANSLATION. EVER.

Well yay, I played Across the Universe at the same time it was transmitted into space, someone else played it as well? Or am I the only sad loser who did? XD

All good things come to pass, sadly, which means that I'm going back to school tomorrow. Argh. I like my school, I do, but first days have been somewhat of a nightmare to me for as long as I remember - I always get tensed and fearful even if I know it'll be all right. Stupid automatic reactions.

These holidays, I decided was going to watch all of Dexter and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Instead, I watched Journeyman, Gossip Girl, Wonderfalls, Secret Diary of a London Call Girl and Jericho. Um. I'm in episode 18 of Jericho and loooooving it. Post-apocalyptic-esque storytelling for the win!

Speaking of 'Secret Diary...' I was surprised to find it actually decent. It's not good, but it is entertaining, and I'm really feeling the Billie love, even if I still don't consider her that much of an actress. I haven't read the book (yet) but it's still so different -- blog!Belle is arrogant and poised and never loses her cool, while tv!Belle is somewhat... normal. The upper side is that blog!Belle's friends (a bunch of sex-addicted TWATS) are missing and we get lovely and nice Ben instead. Yay.
