Okay, this is really fucking strange but the only page I can open is LJ. o_O It suits me all right, yeah, but it's so strange... Has anyone ever had it happen to them?
I went in to ask about student exchanges today, and I'm all hyped up about it. I'm still applying and crossing my fingers, but there's a problem - if I do go, it'd be in January 2009. That's not the problem. The problem is: You need a minimum of 40% credits and a maximum of 80%, right now I have about 50% or something like that, but by the time Jan09 rolls, I might have reached that 80 percent. Well fuck me. I'll try and find my major's coordinator to help me with that, or something...
In any case, I've wanted to spend at least six months in London for as long as I can remember. If I don't get this exchange (which would be ideal, as I would still be paying my regular school fee, which is next to nothing, although I do have to pay for, you know, a roof over my head and food and stuff), I WILL try and find another one - a scholarship to study English, or, dunno, something. Even if I have to live in some hell-hole of a flat, or something. I'm young, I can handle it. I just don't want to be forty and looking back and saying why didn't I?
But, of course, my internet is all wonky right now, so I can't go and start looking for the universities that have arrangements with mine. Boo.
