Oh man, look what I just found out. OH, THE GLEE.

( Spoilers for Buffy Season 8, issue 16 - but such GOOD spoilers, promise )

I went to see Elizabeth: The Golden Age today and oh, but it was lovely. I hadn't seen such stunningly beautiful cinematography in a while - every scene, ever color, every costume, is perefectly rich and detailed, and the lightening and camera shots just added so much to it. That was what mostly impressed me, although, as always, Cate Blanchett is a joy to watch, the same as Clive Owen. I know the film took quite a lot of liberties with the story, but it was still quite nicely plotted and paced, I'd say. In short: I really liked it. Now I really feel like watching Elizabeth again, it's been such a long time since I've seen it.

I also rewatched Bones' The Man in the Morgue and OH, HOW I LOVE IT. Partly because of the infamous 'Jesus is not a zombie' line, and partly because Booth and Brennan couldn't love each other any more, haha. I also watched Angel's Smile Time and LOL PUPPET!ANGEL. I WANT ONE OF THOSE. XD

So, new Bones and and Gossip Girl tomorrow, huh? YAYZ.

I stumbled into some awful white supremacist crap disguised as 'scientific research' while getting info for fic, and oh man, but I'm so pissed. It devalues the achievements of pretty much every single race ever if it wasn't a white one, pretty much talks about black societies in Africa as being in the 'stone age' and claims that not only did Latin American prehispanic cultures flowered thanks to 'white influence' (wtf), but we're also 'undeveloped' because 'white people didn't colonize it properly'. First, yes we were, the Spanish are mostly white, dude, and second, you mean decent, English speaking people didn't come and kill every single inhabitant, to prevent that nasty race intermixing, huh? Asshole.

It also calls Egyptians white, which is mostly just a bit wtf. BUT ARGH. So infuriating.
