Aaaaand we have a Doctor! Nice to meet you, Eleven.

All right, so he is a bit young. But at the same time, it's sort of exciting, isn't it? Shut up, it totally is. DONNA WILL MOCK HIM SO MUCH. SO, SO MUCH. IT SHALL BE GLORIOUS.

Now! *cracks knuckles* time to die laughing at the wank! (BURN, OG, BURN.)

Well my flist is EXPLODING. Oh, Who. I'd missed you, honestly. I still haven't seen the Christmas special, but I hope to see it tonight.

This is probably my favorite post about Eleven so far XDD Because, well, lol, and also because what better way to really showcase the truly transitory nature of the show?

In other matters, the first movie of the year ended up being Rudo y Cursi from Carlos Cuarón (not to be confused with this brother Alfonso, although he did produce), which is a story about two brothers who end up getting out of poverty by playing football (I refuse to call it soccer, whatevs). It was actually rather funny and nice in a simple, yet well made way. I thought it'd be quite bad, to be honest, but with Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna playing the brothers, I just had to see it, lol. The movie is an ode to all things naco, the trashiest of the trashy, and it works precisely because even when it's so very over the top, it still rings true.

An A-division player from Chivas lives across my street, and tends to drive impossibly fast in his oh so shiny brand new BMW, and yet, it's so easy to see he comes from a very poor background. So yes, it's easy to relate.
