I went walking in the city market today, where I was this close to getting a kitten (it was climbing all over the kittens cage, all right? And looking incredibly pretty and mischievous about it, and it was all black and fluffy and did I mention pretty?), but instead I bought a plant. I told my mom about it and she laughed and I was all ' I NEED THE COMPANY, OKAY.' Well, it's actually not a plant yet, it's a weird 'plant your own plant!' kind of thing and I'm supposed to water it until it actually becomes a poppy flower. Huh.

I'm up to episode 2x09 of BSG, and while the first arc of the season dragged on a bit too long, it is still fantastic and shiny and I am so utterly IN LOVE with it and I ship Starbuck/Apollo something fierce. WELL. Actually, I fangirl Starbuck quite a lot on her own, she's so frakking awesome. XD But really, I adore pretty much everyone.

I've been procrastinating on my homework for the past... weeks. It's just. Agh. I hate doing research papers, and back home most of my homework it's practical and my brain is no longer wired to write essays. I really have to start working on that ASAP, though, 'cause I don't want to work during the holidays...
