Yesterday I watched ep. 2x15 of BSG, Scar, and I pretty much melted and went all OMG HOTTT and oooh, I think I love Kara even more now. OH, STARBUCK. ♥ (Black Market sucked, though. Poor Lee, getting the crappy episodes. SIGH.)

Last night we celebrated one of my flatmates' birthday, so we had cake and wine and played monopoly until 5 am, haha. I got, like. SO DRUNK. Heee. I actually had too much of a hangover to go to class today - well, that, and I couldn't be bothered to actually get out of bed, that is. ERRR. But it was a lot of fun and we joked around and I lost SO BADLY and holy shit, but do I have a crush in one of my flatmates. IDEK.

I've been BUSY these past few days, but, sadly, not doing homework, which is what I should be doing I KNOW I KNOW. I went to Huddersfield, a small town about half an hour from here, on Sunday, and it was quite lovely even if really reaaally small and if absolutely everything was closed. WTF, Britain, how come your stores close down so early? And on monday we had a small potluck party for a friend that's going back to Chile in a couple of weeks, and it was Mexican themed and I made enchiladas and they turned out pretty okay, even if the only tortillas I can find in here suck big time. Stillll, it was lovely, even if the girl we were throwing the party for sort of got lost and actually got to the part three hours late, lol.

Aw, man, I just found out that Audrey Niffenegger's new book is being released in October - there's nothing wrong about that, I'm quite excited about it, but I was hoping I'd still be in the UK for the release, so I'd actually be able to, you know, get it, 'cause I know it'll be a bitch to find in Mexico. SIGH.

Books! I haven't talked about books in ages!

Lately I've read: Breakfast at Tiffany's, which was quite lovely, I do adore Truman Capote's style; Midnight's Children, which, as all of Rushdie's books, was amazing, but a bit of a hard read, especially while I was sick and miserable a couple of weeks ago; and I'm reading In The Eye of the Sun right now, which was awesome and shiny for the first 600 pages and has just hit a bumpy part, agh. Ah well.

AND I'm reading The Bro Code right now as means to procrastinate on my homework and it is, of course, LEGENDARY. XDDD
