I'm seeing Star Trek tonight! Because damnit but my flist has made me curious. I didn't want to watch it beacuse I've always gong 'well, AT LEAST I'm not a trekkie' in defense of my sci-fi geekyness (I KNOW, I KNOW) but it seems to be the shiniest new thing in the block and I'm nothing if not a sheep. BAAAAAA. Anyway, I'm not watching it in the cinema because I went out to celebrate a friend's birthday last night and dinner was £15 (good, but not that good, you know?) and I'm cheap anyway. IT TOTALLY STILL COUNTS, THOUGH.

I made the mistake of going to Primark today not remembering it's Bank Holiday on Monday and therefore people go crazy these weekends. It was SO CROWDED. And full of CRYING little children and annoying tweens going 'ohmigoshlookatthiiiiiis' in loud voices. Bah. There were cool street performances outside, though, so that was good, and I got a fantaaaastically cute jacket from H&M for only £10, yessss.

I finally got to open an inkwell I've had for months (well, got the boy to open it, anyway, but it was still hard for him so I have an excuse), so I've been drawing with that. Oh man, I'd forgotten how amazing things come out with ink, even if it's blue. ♥
