The highlight of my birthday was watching (500) Days of Summer, which I just LOVED. Oh my, what a charming, lovely movie, happy and chearful and sad and so funny at the same time. Very indie, and very hipster chic, but still approachable, and really, it was just such a joy to watch. :D I hadn't liked a movie so much in some time.
Other than that, I went out for a nice fancy meal and recieved lots of lovely presents, including a package from the boy, consisting on some of his favorite books (and I think Her Fearful Symmetry is in the post! hopefully!) and some Werther's Originals, which I didn't try while I was in the UK but rather after he mailed some, and fell for them. Of course, I would have prefered if he'd mailed himself in, but i guess finding a 6'6'' tall crate would've been a bit of a hassle. :3
It was a great day. Peaceful.
