nekare at 12:19pm on 07/08/2010I've just watched an episode of The Adventures of Shirley Holmes. AW, MY CHILDHOOD. It holds up surprisingly well for being more than 10 years old, even if everyone wears horrible 90s fashion, haha. Still, it made me all nostalgic, I so wanted to be Shirley when I was a kid!
Anyone else remembers watching it when they were little?
ETA: The world needs more shows like this. With a brave, fearless and smart heroine instead of shows like Hanna Montana, who constantly feel like they're assuming the audience's intelligence is equal to that of a small gerbil, and that present a girl that can't be nothing unless she puts on lots of sequins and a blonde wig. Ugh.
