After seeing the Mexico episode of An Idiot Abroad, some facts about your average Mexican (me, in this case):
I have never in my life heard of 'Mexican jumping beans'.
I have never been to a lucha libre match, though they do say it's fun in a trashy, trashy way.
I have never eaten a bug in my life, and I hate that they always make tourists in tv eat them, it makes it look like it's our national dish. My dad, however, has eaten grasshopers, a 'delicacy' in the south. He said they were crunchy. Ew.
If you get offered tequila with a worm, then it's not tequila. It's a horrible imitation called mezcal. No need to mention that shit's horrible.
