Is there anything more annoying than seeing a 'locked entry' when looking for old fic you've saved to memories before? I mean, obviously it's fine if like, the author's boss had found their dirty porn and stuff, but those authors that leave fandom and lock everything up before they go as a last silent fuck you to their ex-fandom, well, what's the point in that. okay, that was a bit extreme. I don't even know which case was this, but it's always a bit disappointing, isn't it?
