I'm going on a e-book making frenzy in the attempt to get all of my favorite fic in my kindle at the moment, and I've just started going through my SPN entries, starting from 2006. Man, remember when the fandom's in joke was how Sam got choked every other episode? Or how there was so much talk about Sam pulling the trigger in Asylum? And then a few more entries and we get to all of the mind-numbingly amazing fic after Dean made his deal with the crossroads demon!
SIGH. It's getting me nostalgic for the good old days of the fandom.
(For some reason, I've been craving some girl!Dean fic as of lately. I love girl!Dean, because I picture her as the hottest, trashiest thing ever, all tiny tiny cut-off shorts and cowboy boots and grease-smeared button ups she stole from Sam and she'd be perpetually licking on lollipops around trucker stations and diners just for the kicks of tormenting everyone around her, up to and including Sam. She'd be crass and loud and sharp.)
Anyway, I found this e-book maker online and it's pretty much the best thing ever. It's super easy and fast and it uploads automatically from LJ, so now I don't have to grumble a lot when I realize some fic I want to read isn't up for download at AO3. Yay! :D
