My kitty is really ill. She's been struggling for breath for a few days, a visit to a vet yesterday did nothing, and we took her to a better vet today. She has leukemia, and a tumor in her lungs that won't let her breathe properly. Our past vet never told us that we had to test her for leukemia before giving her the vaccination, which apparently can kick it into action.

She's only five and a half months old, and I'm gonna have to put her to sleep either tomorrow or the day after. I haven't stopped crying since I was told.

I selfishly wish I'd brought her home with me tonight so she can have a last night curled up on my pillow with me.
