Well, I ended up going to Comictlán today, because I wasn't feeling up for it yesterday, and my, what a disappointment it was. That mostly has to do with my dwindling interest of manga (I'm all about Western comics as of lately, dunno why), and, dunno, I think I've outgrowned that con a bit? It's mostly filled with teenage kids buying posters of anime-style bikini-clad girls. So, the stand I was really looking forward to wasn't there, and anyway it was incredibly small, dunno why, although as crowded as ever. So boo. There were a lot of cosplayers, too, and the best one was probably two guys dressed as Shino and Kiba from Naruto - they looked so so awesome. There was a Naruto in their party too (and... pretty much every single character in the series o_O), but the dude was wearing a bright yellow wig and it looked all kinds of bad. I did get to buy two volumes of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (In spanish. Why do I do this to myself? Vid uses such crappy paper) and incredibly expensive and incredibly delicious mousse-flavored pocky. Mmm, pocky. Pocky is GOOD.

Best buy of the day, though? A GRYFFINDOR SCARF. IT IS SO LOVELY. I'd never got one but always wanted to, and well, now that the series is over and everything, I just needed to have something to remember it by. *single emo tear* It came with this fugly-ass Harry-in-GoF pin, but I took it out and now it's SOOOO PRETTY.

One of my cousins asked me to draw a 'book cover' for a school project he has, and I jumped at the opportunity because I was kinda bored. He had to go before I was done inking it (with a lousy ballpoint pen because that's all he had brought aside another lousy 2HB pencil), so I'm pretty sure he'll end up ruining it somehow to turn it in tomorrow. I do hope he doesn't forget to take a copy BEFORE he does anything to it so I can finish it for myself sometime later. It ended up looking fairly okay, and I hadn't drawn anything in about three weeks, so I'm feeling protective of it, lol. My brother's bitter because I charged him when I did that kind of homework for him. Whatever. I just felt like drawing.

My dad's away on a business trip to Guanajuato right now and he's desperate because the last episode of The Sopranos is airing today in HBO. And it's his absolute favorite series too, poor guy.
