Taking a break from rolling in bed moaning about being sick to squee about Avatar
Lol, Appa's Lost Days was on tv just moments ago and it's really weird, because when I started watching the show in earnest, I was used to the Spanish voices and now in reverse and I can't help but think EWWW THAT'S NOT AZULA'S VOICE, WHAT THE HELL, lol.
Avatar 3x10-3x11 - Day of the Black Sun: OH MAN. SO GOOD. THIS IS AVATAR IN TOP FORM.
I so liked the gesture of everyone wearing their own colors for the invasion. It was poignant, even if I do like Aang better with hair, hee. SOKKA WAS MADE OF AWESOME. He's truly the smartest one in the group, even if he disguises it with his goofiness. AND EVERYONE ROCKED. SO MUCH. I looove bending-heavy episodes, especially if Azula is somewhere around because, while a complete and utter sociopath, she's a wonderful bender, and she brings out the best (or worse? it's arguable) in the rest of the cast.
ZUZU STEPPED UP TO HIS DAD. YAYZ. It was actually a rather good scene - we've all known he was an abused child, but for him to finally accept him and spell it out... that was rough, man.
Good for the intrigue. Zuko joining the gaang, Ursa finally being acknowledge as the former Fire Lord's killer (not in so many words, but) and her being somewhere out there, Suki being a prisioner. Good, good.
So yes, nothing much came out of it, but they were some rather good episodes and we all knew Ozai couldn't be defeated by mid-season. Oh yeah, AND YAYZ FOR KATARA/AANG. :D

That and because they're going EEEEW SPOILER CUTS, THEY'RE SO TEEEEMPTING! and really, cry me a river, bitches, there's a bazillion posts with uncut, spoilery icons everytime a new episode airs BUT OF COURSE NO ONE OUTSIDE THE US EXISTS, SO HOW COULD THEY GET SPOILED??? Man. You don't hear me bitching about being spoiled every week, so stop whining already for NOT getting spoiled, just having the POSSIBILITY to do so. *eyeroll*
