This has a nice slow build, I like the way it begins, with Sam's restless adolescence, the interlude with Jen, just as the bit with the demon a bit of forseeing the future. (It also made me wonder if John hadn't discovered the trail of the YED thanks to another demon who couldn't keep his mouth closed). The ending where they're angry, sad and desperate all at the same time was great.
