Look, I don't mind the Arthur/Eames fic that's composing half of the Inception fandom at the minute, it's hot and stuff (even though there wasn't that much interaction there in the movie, but you know, artistic license and whatnot, again, it's hot), but what I REALLY want is long plotty fic about dreams and reality and what happens after the ending of the movie and twists and such. Anyone's seen something like it? If so, please link me to it? Pretty please.

Found this recipe for SUPPOSEDLY huevos rancheros, and wow, seldom before have I seen something that looks so little like huevos rancheros. I mean, how do you mess up such a simple recipe? By starters: DUDE, flour tortillas in that is a big no-no. In fact, it annoys me how people consider that flour tortillas are THE tortillas, as it happens in England, for example, because they're a variation of the proper corn ones, and used much less. Bah. If you get served enchiladas made with flour tortillas? That shit is wrong, yo.

In other cooking news today I made Shepherd's Pie (or rather, Cottage Pie) and Mountain Pie with strawberries. Yum. :D

Much to the horror of my Arthur/Eames shipping heart, the only Inception fic I can think of writing is that one. I keep hoping someone on the internet has already provided it, but I haven't found it yet. :\

Dude, huevos rancheros looks DELISH. I'm stealing that recipe for sure. Also, my dad makes the best Shepherd's/Cottage Pie ever. He uses turkey meat, and it's sooo yummy!

I think long, plotty fic is going to take a little while in this fandom. It's hard enough to wrap one's head around the ins and outs of dreams/reality as is without trying to write about it! I also want long, plotty fic though! ESPECIALLY if it's Arthur/Eames (sorry, they're my favorite thing ever right nao).

Just wanna pick the brain of someone else who've watched the movie:

1. The ending is heavily slanted toward "Tom is still dreaming," Y/N?

1a. The voices of the kids on the phone sound like grade schoolers.

2. If Tom was still in a dream at the end of the movie, was it because:
a) Saito double-crossed him.
b) Tom misunderstood what Saito meant by "going home," or
c) Tom didn't rescue Saito after all and they're both still in limbo.

3. If Tom is still in a dream, does he realize this and does he even care?

I know exactly what you mean! I'm loving the porn, but I need more than that. This has a really interesting concept, and this and this play around with the dreams/reality, so try those, maybe? :)
