Doctor Who 6x04 - The Doctor's Wife:
OF COURSE she chose him, not the other way around. She wanted to go see the universe and she kidnapped him, omg, it's so beautiful. ♥_______♥ The episode was just so beautiful and funny and terrifying and amazing. Not only did get to meet the TARDIS, we got to see her insides as well (which... sounds vaguely horrifying in this context, tbh) which is always a thrill (though I do wish that the budget had allowed for the swimming pool in the library).![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
such_heights wrote some pretty cool meta about Amy's hallucinations on the TARDIS, which is all on point and that makes me go OH, AMY. She's so terrified, poor thing. About being loved and being sort of worthy or that love and about being left, although that has already come to pass and she made it through.
And Amy's: "Did you wish really hard?" LOL.
Anyway, the obvious star of the night is the most beautiful, gorgeous, sexy blue box in the universe! She was amazing. But then, she was always amazing. And she loves her Doctor so very much. ♥ Her commentary about seeing her dead sisters's corpses was so, so very tragic. And: "You have what you've always had. You've got me." and then kissing her fingertip to pass the vortex's energy and ngggggggh. BROKEN BRAIN. The Doctor was probably SO HORNY in that scene. THEIR LOVE IS THE STUFF OF LEGENDS, OMG. And the old TARDIS console! EEEEH.
Also, how cute was it that BOTH Amy and Rory sort of jumped to the defense of the Doctor's honor, or something, as soon as the TARDIS kissed him! AWWW.
It seems like I cannot for the life of me be coherent about this episode. Or, you know, this series, minus the pirate boring episode. My heart, it is about to burst.
To be honest I don't think I'd like to really watch Who with someone else (the only time I watched it with the boy I ignored him until he went to sleep, bless), because then I couldn't do so many undignified noises and faces and cry to my heart's content.
