Legend of Korra finale time!
Guys, I see your criticisms and I acknowledge them, and I certainly don't think this was a flawless episode(s), but I loved it. I seriously, seriously loved it, I cried a bit and mostly I just love Korra so much that I just want her to be forever happy.
In conclusion: KORRA. ♥

And it's like - It's Aang, would people really think he would want her to suffer for years? Of course he would help her, (his own soul at that) if he could find a chance. And in any case - Korra found her airbending to help someone in need. In my books, that's clearly earning to be a complete avatar.

(My main criticism's with the pacing. One more episode to resolve all that, and I think the other issues would have smoothed themselves out.)
I'm actually reluctant to make my squee post, because I don't want it to be harshed. I've already seen one person say the ending was a nihilistic dystopia, but then, she said the same thing about my own fic last year, so I'm in good company.

But yeah, another or a couple of episodes more would've done a lot of good. Or just split it over two seasons, but that was Nick's fault, not the writers.

I've decided not to look at Tumblr at all. I stole a glance just after the finale aired, and read that it was misogynistic and problematic, and then I decided I'd had enough.
