Drabble openings.
Am back from being with all the cousins. We went and conspired so we could stay over at my Memo and Fer's house (since it was the later's birthday) as if we were ten year olds (Which kinda applies to Alex and Fer, now that I think about it...) and our parents all refused (flashbacks to my childhood!). It seems like I've spent all of Easter week with them, huh. I so heart them. :) Other than that, had a boring morning. I actually did a lot of homework *retches*
Meme!
The first 10 people to comment on this post get to request a drabble (real drabble: 100 words exactly) from you. In return, they have to post this in their journal and write a drabble for you. Post all fandoms you're willing to write for. (this is optional; you don't HAVE to do it in return, but it would be pretty spiffy if you did).
So go on, pick a pairing and a prompt. (and don't maul me if they're not 100 words long. All those numbers like 180 and 235 also deserve some love.) Fandoms: HP (duh), Doctor Who, Alias, Narnia, Nip/Tuck, Fight Club (humour me and pick it!), Howl's Moving Castle, Good Omens, Spirited Away.
I know I still have some other drabbles I promised to a lot of people, but those I'm reserving for inspiration someday later. Sorry!

Fears
Harry/Ron – Ceramic - 327 words
Harry has been touching him lately as if he was made of ceramic, made of clay and ready to tear and crack and break with a mere sigh. Ron hates it, because they’ve been through so much together, and he’s just Ron, Harry’s best mate, and confident. He decides he’s had enough when Harry’s fingers almost drop the bottle of beer they had been sharing at the smallest of touches.
“Just what is wrong with you?” Ron asks, infuriated, setting the bottle back to the small coffee table with a thud and a bit of splashing.
“What do you mean?” asks back Harry, defensive. He swallows, not quite meeting Ron’s eyes and Ron knows Harry is quite aware of what the question is about.
Ron gets closer and pokes Harry between the third and fourth rib, and Harry jumps away as if his fingers had burnt him. “That! It’s like you’re too disgusted to touch me!”
“It’s nothing, Ron, really.” Harry turns away from him, stares back into the telly with his arms crossed across his chest. Hours pass, Ron trying to get an answer out of him and Harry sinking into the couch as if wanting to disappear with a frown on his face.
“Just tell me already!” shouts Ron after a while, fed up with the uncertainty, and Harry turns to finally face him, panting with anger.
“Fine,” he says sharply, grabs Ron’s hand between his hands and kisses him, quick and hard. He breaks apart after only a few second, red-faced but still furious. “That is why I’m afraid to touch you.”
Ron sits in the same place, eyes wide, as Harry stands up, gets his jacket and goes out the flat banging the door. He remembers how to breathe, somehow, and finishes the beer with in a single sip.
“Oh,” he says after a while to the muted voices from the news, and lays back in the couch, wanting to kiss Harry again.

I haven't gone to Bolivia, yet, but probably this summer. I do talk to them though, phone, email that sort of thing. It IS a beautiful country! I've only been to La Paz (where I was born) and Cochabamba, but from what I do remember it was just breath taking. When I go back I plan to visit Lake Titicaca, hopefully that will happen this year.

Cochabamba is suuuuuch a cool name ^-^ Wee, if you do go, take pictures, I wanna see! Hey, how old were you when you went to the states?

I believe I was 8 when I left Bolivia, I was a little thing, heh. So I've been in the States for about 13 years, if I'm not mistaken.

Wow, that's such a long time! Do you still speak with your family in Spanish?
no subject
It really is, isn't it? I speak Spanish with my dad, not my mom though, she likes to practice her English. But if I don't speak Spanish with my dad he has a heartattack, heh.
I always meant to ask you, where did you learn English?

I've always thought it sad when people living in other countries don't teach their language to their kids, so it's nice to know you do get to practice it. :)
Well, my dad started to teach me when I was like, three; then I was in a bilingual school for a year and then no more classes until I was, uh, 8? From then on, I've always had English as a subject in school (I even had an American teacher giving Mexican History and we tortured him by asking him to say 'Parangutirimicuaro and Tepoztipotla XD), but the classes were always kinda sucky. Then I discovered fanfic, and since HP sounded lame and cheesy in Spanish, I moved over to read it in English (that'd be in 2002). Then I started reading real books, and then writing in it, and it's all just come on its own XD I haven't had classes for almost a year now, so I haven't had that much chance to practice it orally, but oh well. [/rant]

Well, I also took Spanish classes here all through highschool, and Latin too. But when I got to college I wanted to learn something new so I took Portuguese.
But that's amazing nonetheless! Because you write very well in English, so I'm sure orally you're just as good! More reasons to looove books, you learned English through them, how lovely.

Portuguese! Someday I'd love to learn that, it sounds oh so pretty ^-^ How long have you been taking it?
Awww, thanks; and yes! I own book soooo much XD

See? that's the reason I still</i< need classes. *sigh*

Ooh, Portuguese is beautiful! I took it for two years, I wanted to continue taking it but there weren't enough students who signed up for the class so they cancelled Portuguese V. I was very distraught. What was lovely about that class was that there were never more than 9 kids in there, so it was very intimate and we were able to learn faster. My Professor was from Portugal and she was amazing, very loud, so funny, that I just loved her.
Sadly it's been a while since I've spoken or written anything in Portuguese, I might start up again since I still have a lot of the textbooks lying around.

Write drabbles! I promise, they help a lot. :)

Maybe I will, although my grammar is a little iffy in Portuguese.
