Ok, up to episode 10 of the Vampire Diaries. It's gotten much better now that people don't write in their bullshit diaries anymore, and now that it isn't as horribly cheesy. Plot's good so far. Elena and Stefan are so boring together though. I can't help but think of Buffy at times - that time when Buffy was kissing a vamped-out Angel in the ice-rink? ngh, so cute.

It's WEIRD though, because looking at objectively, Buffy and Angel were just as cheesy and boring together, and yet I remember them fondly. Maybe because I was still a teenager when I went through their storylines? Maybe because the Angelus storyline happened, and it was the most amazing thing it ever happened to the show? Maybe because after everything had been pulled away, and he was standing over her, all that was left was her. OMG THAT MOMENT. ♥

I miss Buffy. I wish the comics hadn't gong into strange-land in such a disturbing way.

(ANYWAY; Damon's funny in that psycopath way and I really like Bonnie and poor poor Caroline and the plot's compelling.)

Aw, man, I just finished watching Buffy's S7 finale, Chosen. Perhaps it wasn't the right episode to watch tonight, because I'm crying my eyes out. Oh, oh, it'd been too long since I'd seen it.

Say what you want about, but I fucking love that finale. It was. It was wonderful. All those slayers, oh. *sobs a bit more*

(Also: If there's one thing to love about Angel (the series), is that it made Angel have some sort of sense of humor. He just whined while he was in Buffy. And it was obvious how far he'd come in this ep. Just saying.)

Today was an incredibly frustrating day at school, made worst by the horrible heat and the fact that stupid little me decided to wear a long-sleeved shirt. I came back home moody and pissed at everything and pretty much annoyed at the world in general.

So I saw the two parter Season 3 finale of Buffy to cheer myself up. And it worked! Granted, now I have to start with homework, but I really needed a break. Plus, there's no way to be pissed with the shiny and Wesley as a stuck up ass, lol.

Weirdly enough, I've been reached by two (two!) people that want to translate my latest fic into Chinese. That is... both incredibly weird and incredibly flattering, lol. I can't wait to see how it looks, hee!

I also wrote a bit, yay. The Bones fic is nearly finished, and then I'll have to go and look up all those technical terms I've been forgoing so far, arrrgh. (aka a bazillion names for tiny tiny bones.)

Woot, Buffy.

And the mini Buffy marathon continues, hee! I watched Innocence today, and I'd forgotten several things about it:

a)how good it actually is
b)how young everybody looked - especially Angel, AND how young Buffy was. After everything that's gone through, it really is hard to think of her as that heart-broken seventeen year old.
c)what am absolute joy is watching Angelus. Oh man. So good. Especially when teamed up with Spike and Dru.

Also, I think what the world needs is Angel/Buffy/Spike. It'd be hot. Come on, even Buffy wants it - and very graphically, I must add; that scene in the comics made me laugh so hard, lol. XD

And this is all a warm up for YAY NEW BONES. Because it's CLEAR that Booth >>>> Angelus >>>> Angel, BUT THERE YOU GO.

YAY BUFFY!

I took a break from the homework that NEVER ENDS to watch Buffy's Once More, With Feeling, which I'd never seen before (shut up I know) and EEK YAY. SO AWESOME. Y'all know I really don't like musicals but omg this one was so fantastic! In fact, I'm listening to the soundtrack now, haha. Amber Benson's voice was the best. Alyson Hannigan's the worst, man, that hurt. o_O But in all: YAY. And I'm not going to lie, I loved Buffy/Spike until, you know, it went sour. so YES.

I watched Hush last night (sooo creepy) and am watching Angel's Spin the Bottle in a while - I watched s1,2 and 7 religiously, but the other four are somewhat patchy. So I'm catching up? Five years later? I don't know. IT'S THE BOREANAZ LOVE, I TELL YOU. And the Season 8/Season 6 comics. I might watch Innocence later because OMG THE AWESOME IT BURNS.

Okay, back to homework. ;____;

ALSO. BONES TOMORROW YAY. Well, Tuesday for me, but STILL. WOOT.

Ah, good old JK.

Just read this month's issues of:

Season 8 of Buffy ( Oh, the art was gorgeous this month! And I can't get over the fact that Xander looks like, you know, Xander. (Dawn, sadly, does not. *sigh*) Also, zombies! Lots and lots of zombies! Zombies are nice, yes. And the plot's moving along nicely. AND ANDREW, OMG, I'D MISSED HIM.) and Runaways (Yayz for Old Lace and Chase interaction! Nico is still a bitch! Molly goes on being adorable! And yaaaaay for Surprise Superhero Guest! It sounds like a fun arc, probably a break after the angst (*criez*) of the last one.)

You know, I was worried about Joss Whedon writing both comics at the same time (for non comic fans in my flist, i.e. mostly everyone: Yep, the master himself is back, and writing a bazillion things o_O), but it seems like I didn't have much to worry about. Granted, Runaways hasn't been as good since You-Know-Who died (*criez*), but such is life, I guess. And I can't wait for Angel and Spike to show up in Buffy. *grabby hands* JOSS BETTER DON'T RUIN EVERYTHING, THOUGH. I'd be reaaaal mad if that were the case.

Doctor Who 3x02 - The Shakespeare Code: ) So, yes. PURE WIN!
