Just read this month's issues of:
Season 8 of Buffy ( Oh, the art was gorgeous this month! And I can't get over the fact that Xander looks like, you know, Xander. (Dawn, sadly, does not. *sigh*) Also, zombies! Lots and lots of zombies! Zombies are nice, yes. And the plot's moving along nicely. AND ANDREW, OMG, I'D MISSED HIM.) and Runaways (Yayz for Old Lace and Chase interaction! Nico is still a bitch! Molly goes on being adorable! And yaaaaay for Surprise Superhero Guest! It sounds like a fun arc, probably a break after the angst (*criez*) of the last one.)
You know, I was worried about Joss Whedon writing both comics at the same time (for non comic fans in my flist, i.e. mostly everyone: Yep, the master himself is back, and writing a bazillion things o_O), but it seems like I didn't have much to worry about. Granted, Runaways hasn't been as good since You-Know-Who died (*criez*), but such is life, I guess. And I can't wait for Angel and Spike to show up in Buffy. *grabby hands* JOSS BETTER DON'T RUIN EVERYTHING, THOUGH. I'd be reaaaal mad if that were the case.
Doctor Who 3x02 - The Shakespeare Code: Hehe, I loved Shakespeare, he's such a rock star and a swaggering bastard and I like it XD And he was a genious, and I loved seeing the Doctor finally meeting someone he recognizes as an intellectual equal (Nine was such a fanboy of Dickens, but it didn't come near this degree of fanboyness...) The whole 'words have power' pretty much made me go a;lsdjljasd because it's such a wonderful concept, oh yes.
The part with the psychic paper and starting from scratch and 'no, you can't have an autograph or have a sketch drawn with me' was awesome XD. Cassie from Hex was a greaaaat choice as a the monster of the week. The bed scene was great and I liked that mention of Rose. The second one felt a bit trite and overused. *shrug* Go Martha for being bitchy at the guy that swept you off your feet talking non-stop about the ex!
THE DOCTOR CRIED WITH BOOK 7. ;ALSDJFALSKJDF. EXPELIARMUS SAVING THE WORLD. A;LASDLFJ. I KNEW THE DOCTOR WAS A CLOSET HP FAN. So, yes. PURE WIN!

RE: BtVS S8? I don't know; I mean, they're cool, yes, but I'm waiting for the next few parts before I judge.

Yeah, it's still kinda slow, and it's decisively weird to see it progressing in issues instead of episodes (it doesn't really help the story - too abrupt, I'd say, after years and years of being used to mostly self-contained episodes), but it's going okay, I think.
(no subject)
Actually, the speed isn't my problem. It's this old "Army-is-bad" scheme. I mean, it doesn't quite fit with BtVS anymore - Riley Finn, for example, knows what's going on, and I most sincerely doubt that any group undertaking actions in SD wouldn't be briefed by him.
But Giant!Dawn? Leads to fun. And the fact that according to

Oh man, I'd forgotten about Riley! (not so surprising, considering season 4 is the one I've seen the least episodes of...) I still think this issue felt more like BtVS than last one, though. Haha, yeah, I loved that bit in the intro: 'Oh, and Dawn's a giant." XD Priceless.
Shipper wars? Where, where? *looks around* Those are always fun, yo. But let me guess, it's the same old story, right? Spike/Buffy vs. Angel/Buffy. Bah. And I'd been pleasantly surprised/horrorified/interested with that Buffy/Xander part (before, you know, his head fell off, and stuff). It'd be wickedly interesting, even if my inner Buffy dork is screaming 'OMG WRONG' at me.

Yup! Oh, the glee. =D

...I didn't spoil you, did I? *looks around anxiously* The first volume is better than the second one, if I gotta be honest, but some really deep shit happened and the characters got a lot of development, which is nice.

Nope, you didn't spoil anything. No worries. ^_^

Haha, you're right! He'll have the time of his geeky life seeing this ep XDD Ah, I wish he'd break his 'I don't write tv series scripts' rule. Neil would write a PERFECT Doctor. *nod*

Oooh, yes Neil would write the perfect Doctor, ah, maybe one day he will break his rule.
