Yep! And he's a redhead in the comics too, to the best of my knowledge. His good alternate-universe selves all have their hair and are all redheads.

You like bunnies? You may want to examine

pygs_lj, where there's a daily request post, in which some people post bunnies for almost all fandoms, even if it's mostly Buffy-centric.
And yes, I do my best to post there one daily. And I try to spread knowledge of new fandoms; there are several GitS-bunnies, and at least one Ergo Proxy one.
