I can't wait to start reading The Sandman, I just finished reading 'smoke & mirrors', I'm reading Anansi Boys now, next Sandman :D

ooooh, sentence fic. harry/ron (sorry can't help it) and prompt: hippos!
My two favorite things, lets see what you can do with that!

Ooh you're going to love it! It's all dark and twisted and pure brilliancy, even if the artwork is not really impressive. :) (eeeh, how are you liking Anansi Boys? Isn't it amazing?)

Let's Discuss This As Rational Adults
HP – Harry/Ron – Hippos – 50 Words

That’s a rhinoceros, claims Ron, of course not, that’s a hippo, you wanker, says Harry, and they argue, and they fight, and they wrestle and in the end, it’s not very surprising when Ron’s leg ends up between Harry’s and Ron’s freckles under Harry’s tongue – just like any other day.

Ah, I'm loving Anansi Boys, Spider reminds of another character, now I can't remember if it was one of Gaiman's or another authors, but it's been bugging me for a while now. I love it though, and it is very funny. I love how he describes the old Gods as well life in Florida.

You are the best. Do you know that? Because I can't believe you managed to use hippos as a prompt. Completely loved it, sexy and everything *hugs*

Really? Don't remember? It's as if he had SIRIUS written on his forehead! (weeeell, not exactly, but that larger-than-life personality? Definitely alike) I love how the tone changes subtly all during the book, even if it's never as opressing as American Gods.

Haha, I was like, '...hippos. Mmm...' and then it hit me XD Glad you liked it, hon!

It could be Sirius, but I think I thought of someone else, but of course now I can't think of it. I have to agree, I liked the tone of the book. I usually don't like it when things end so tidy in books, but here it worked. I guess it had to do with the optimistic tone the book ended in. In the end Fat Charlie reminded me a little of Shadow.

AND THE LIME! DON'T FORGET THE LIME! XD (I especially love it when Neil Gaiman himself starts rambling about how much he'd like it if people were to randomly give him limes). I hadn't thought about it, but you're right, both of them have that 'have matured and grown up' glow about them, in the end, how they've been changed along the way. I remember I smiled so much at that moment when it just says 'Charlie', and he finally earns his name. :)

AHH! Yes, the lime! It makes me want to go to St. Andrews and walk around carrying a lime. If I ever meet Neil, I'll make sure to have a lime ready, haha. Yeah, both Charlie and Shadow finally realized who they were and understood the part of them that was part God.

Oh, I liked in the end when Charlie says he sometimes misses being called Fat Charlie.
