Taken from the scifi site for that odd 'who wants to be a superhero' thing, which I still can't tell if it's for real:

From Stan Lee's Supercomputer
She speaks four languages — Spanish, Italian, Yucatan and Aztec.

YUCATÁN IS ONE OF THE 31 STATES IN MEXICO, FUCKTARDS. AND there is no such language as 'Aztec'. The Aztecs spoke Náhuatl. If you wanna use something that sounds cool, make sure you get it right.

Oddly enough, I tried to remember what the Mexican flag looked like, and I was shocked to find myself drawing a blank. It's amazing what a void of knowledge there is about Mexico in the US, but not surprising - considering most people don't seem have a grasp on anything culturally outside of the last episode of Desperate Housewives or whatever's schlocking up the airwaves lately. Politically things here are even more dismal - but I don't have to tell you that...

As for Stan, I mean he's got a great imagination, but G'dang, if you're going to write about something real, research research research.... and Nahuatl sounds way cooler than Aztec even if most people wouldn't know what you were talking about (at least in the US).

Yeah, I mean, I don't intend everyone to know something like that (It's not like I know all the 50 states of the US), but it's just like fanfic, right, I once went and looked at maps and stuff just to know exactly where Liverpool was for a story.

It's just like music, English-speaking bands will always have the possibility of one day becoming world-wide famous, and meanwhile, who has heard of Chinese electrorock? There must be some...

And Náhuatl's very cool, it still exists, actually, is the largest language here after Spanish, even if it's only spoken by a decreasing-in-numbers indian population.

Marvel isn't the best company to research other countries. Especially languages. (Nightcrawler's German is not horrible. Horrible is a word far too good for it.)

However, now I'm waiting for Yucatan as a language - maybe something which is based on the prefix yu- to indict subjects, ca- for verbs and tan- for adjectives/adverbs?
