The tell me what to write meme! I don't guarantee anything, of course, but it's always fun to see what people can come up with XD
Okay, so I finished The Sandman today. Awww, I didn't want it to end ;___; The Kindly Ones (vol. 9), especially, was just astounding. Along with the fabulous art (it was one of the best drawn volumes in the entire series), the story was just incredibly well written - it was a fine conclusion, you know? bringing together so many loose ties from the earlier volumes, and wrapping them all together under a single storyline. Matthew, especially, I adored, and I was really glad to have his character developed.
I just -- I really love this series. It's daunting and epic and chilling at times, heart-warming at others... This is fantasy at its best, and I love how believable it is, even when we're seeing Delirium walk her pet fish, or listening stories about a man old enough to be Mathusalen. It's very human, surprising for a story about definitely non-human characters. ♥
ANYWAY! I just got cards from

Also, have you received mine yet? People in Brazil and Phillippines have received them, and you're in the same continent, lol X-D

No, I haven't. Packages seem to come awfully late in here - it's like, people at the mail wait until they have a reasonable amount of them to save themselves the gas, or something. *eyeroll*
*g*
:-P Man, that would really bring the post office to a grinding halt. Have you read Terry Pratchett's Going Postal?

The poor girl's name is Delight, was Delight, and will always be Delight. And no, she doesn't have a say in that.
But yes, I loved Sandman, too, especially the last chapter was great - maybe because I like Hob, even with all his faults.
Cards? Did I miss something? If yes, I'm sorry.
