I went to see The Fountain again yesterday, this time with my parents, seeing that I got them curious after talking non-stop about it for a week. *g* I think I even loved it more this time around, and I know I cried more. Mom was just as watery eyed as me, though, so that's okay XD. *happy sigh* God, but that movie is just gorgeous.

Insta-rec: I've been reading this lovely piece of a WIP, The Crow on the Cradle, SPN, gen, PG-13. On October 2, 2005, Sam Winchester walked out of the apartment he shared with his girlfriend Jess in the middle of the night and didn't come back.
This story kinda blew me away, in that it feels so real and tangible, both Dean and Jessica's desperation to get Sam back. It's also quite intriguing, and I'm just hooked. So good, long plot, and well crafted characterizations. Go check it out.

Now I gotta go and get my Little's present for tomorrow ready. :))

I adore "The Fountain." Blew me away on so many levels...directing, script, cinematography, effects. Yeah, I fangirl Aronofsky. I'm glad to find someone else who loved the movie...most people I meet just didn't get it.

I am also reading that WIP. It is really good.

Blew me away

Exactly! That's my main reaction to it - I'm kinda awed and astounded and speachless over it, because it was just so damn beautiful. Yeah, it's sad, I get that it's a tricky movie to watch, but it's been so ignored! *shakes head*

Hee, I'm kinda making dissappointed noises at myself, because I still haven't seen Requiem for a Dream, even when everyone and their mothers have told me that it's brilliant. And I've only seen half of Pi. *slaps own hand* bad movie fan, bad, bad! *g*

Heeee!! Fic rec. Me lo apunto para esta semana. Y sale Jessica.

I think I was seriously the only one in the theatre that cried. i was bawling. I mean Hugh Jackman, he's good, but he impressed me in this film. And Rachel is just so gorgeous.

PS. My sister and I are planning a trip to Mexico for this summer!

Yeah, that scene just after Izzi's death, when he's crying by himself -- it really, really broke me. *sniffle* Hugh Jackman truly blew me away - and whatever people might say, he's like, the MASTER of the eyebrow twitch. Seriously, he can SAY things with those eyebrows of his o_O

Omg really?! Are you coming here? Becaue I'd be more than willing to show you around...

Haha. Eyebrow twitch! I never noticed that but I'll rewatch The Prestige and see. It's like Tom Cruise who cries from that one eye in all his films!

I don't know where we're going yet, but I will definitely look into going somewhere near you because that would be so AWESOME! I don't want to promise anything yet because knowing my sister, we might have a falling out prior to the trip and not go, haha.
