You know, I was having quite a shitty day (headache, Anita deciding she actually didn't like the design we'd settled on yesterday and not liking any single fabric we came across, Luz finding out about me going to the movies with Gillian tomorrow and deciding to go along, ruining my chances to be with him alone and turn the thing into a kinda-maybe-date), but then I got home and I got a package from [livejournal.com profile] melandry and now I can't. stop. smiling.

*flails* OMG DARCIE YOU ARE THE BEST. SERIOUSLY. ♥ ♥

Everything's so damn awesome and the city walks deck is just so cool and the Louvre guide and the travel journal is cute as hell and a;lsdjflasjf. Thank you so, so much!! Now I guess I'll just have to go to Paris and try out the maps and everything! *g* (I've very much all for this idea, really)

Seriously though, I'm speechless. That was an incredible thing to do, and I don't know how can I ever repay you. *loves like whoa*

Aw, thanks. He's this guy I know from school (yeah, everyone teases him about his name XD), a fellow comic geek. I've been crushing on him since I started this semester, and, dunno, I was all excited about going to the movies alone with him, and then blah, it all went to hell. *sigh*

While my entire knowledge about dating stems from books and movies, how good (and trustworthy) is Luz, i.e. can you talk to him/her [is Luz a female or a male name?] about your crush and transform an unknowing obstacle into a willing helper?

Hurrah, it arrived! Just when I was going to start worrying. I'm so glad you like it! ♥ I think I had as much fun putting it together as you'll have with it in Paris. XD Though to characterize that art as "damn awesome" is stretching the truth, I fear.

Sorry about the not-date, though. Hopefully you'll get another chance with Gillian.
