We went to get more stuff for our costume today, me and the other girls of the team, and it's really hot right now in the city and walking through downtown is kind of horrible at that time of the day but at least we're making some process on the project. Plus, I got to go have lunch at my favorite creperie.

Next week is Design Week, and I've already signed up for three or four conferences that sound really cool. I'm actually pretty excited about Design Week, seeing that last year I was a wee little firstie at college and I didn't actually realize what was going on with the poster contests and everything - besides, it's a big thing for my campus (Universidad de Guadalajara is not actually all in the same place, it's divided by major centres, and I'm in the CUAAD, Centro Universitario de Arte Arquitectura y Diseño), and everthing's so pretty in that date - last year's DWeek was dedicated to Typography, and the entire campus was decorated with hand-sized random letters stuck to walls and hanging from trees hidden in between books in the library. I kept a lower-case 'R', which is glued to my bedroom door. :)

Today was kind of a bittersweet day because I got recced at crack_impala (haha, with such a short story, too XD) but sunshineclouds said she won't be able to go online for some time (Saraaaaaah ¡no me dejes!) and now I won't have anyone to squee about tomorrow's SPN episode in Spanish. ;____;

My grandma sent me via Mom an Agustín Yáñez biography because she thought I'd 'love' to read it. Er, okay. And I found this crime against humanity while searching for that link: Academía Mexicana de la Lengua OMG YOU ASSHOLES, IT'S ACADEMIA, WITH NO ACCENT. It's a Grave word and Grave words are only accentuated when it doesn't finish in N, S, or a vowel. *kicks gramatically incorrect Spanish-rapers* God knows I commit typo crimes in English by the dozen, but people don't get to do that in serious stuff.)
