furiosity, who's one of my most respected H/D writers.) *is really, really happy*
Now, since I'm going away for the entire week, I'd love to come back and find nice comments waiting, so I'll be doing something:
I'll give you three pairings (Remus/Sirius, Harry/Draco, Ron/Hermione), and a word (lace); and if you all could please a tiny, little fic; that'd be the best Christmas present ever. A line or two, it doesn't have to be large at all. That'd be just cool, and lovely, and I'd have to write drabbles again to say thank you.
Go ahead! It should be fun to see what you can come up with. (And do it yourself! go and pimp this idea around.)

Remus glanced out the window of their hogwarts room, eyes tracing the patterns of lace that the frost had drawn on the glass pane. Everyone else was gone from the tower for some reason or another, and it was peacefully silent. There was a quiet huff, and he looked over to see Sirius curled up in his dog form by the fire, giving him the most wide-eyed-pitiful look he'd ever seen in his life.
He laughed. "All right, All right, just let me grab my book."
The dog rolled his eyes, but patiently waited for Remus to get his book and settle down beside him, wiggling to find a comfortable spot. Finally, Sirius curled up around Remus, who leaned back, sighing. A comfortable silence settled over them, and soon both dog and boy were asleep.
