My dad has just gone to Chile ;-; The poor thing's already sick with the flu, and let's just hope he won't get pneumonia with the cold in there (the minimum is 2C...). He's coming back on Saturday, and oooh, I'll miss him. (Skype is a godsend, though.)
I actually did something today (erm, not homework, though. I have to give a presentation of a church tomorrow for Mexican Art History, and I didn't find ANYTHING at all. Guh.), and I wrote another short story with the part of a prompt
dzturtlepower gave me -- a boy growing up in a theater. I like it, actually. :)
I went to see The DaVinci Code. It was actually good! Audrey Tatou made Sophie a million times more interesting and human just for the fact of being, well, Audrey Tatou. Lots of great acting, actually, Ian McKeller was astouding (as usual), the guy that played Fache, whose name I always remember but I heart a lot, and Silas was just creepy and wonderful. I don't really like Tom Hanks, but I guess he was passable. The music upgraded the movie a GREAT deal, the same as the visuals: the Langdon!vision with things playing on top of others was just WICKED (them walking through the streets with the ghostly Newton funeral on the background? LOVE.) So yeah, I like it a lot. What I didn't like as much( is spoilerific, so I'll just cut it. )
( Doctor Who 2x06 - The Age of Steel )
Waah, I certainly am talkative today, aren't I? Right, now I'll go watch the Confidential and finish that Rose/Ten I've got halfway done. Doctor Who why do you have to be so darn addictive? ;-;
