I hate how blase people are about long distance relationships. Yes, it's hard. No, I don't want you to tell me how much you miss your bf/gf/whatever in the whole entire two days you've gone without. No, you don't want my insight on it, 'cause that would be me shaking you while saying 'you. know. nothing.' I hate how no one expects us to survive it. I hate how hypocritical I am myself, because only a year ago I would have been saying 'PFT, that NEVER works.' I hate that I need him so much, and I hate the stupid ocean in between us.

Number of times I've been told 'Pues ya sabes, amor de lejos... amor de pendejos' in the past few months? TOO MANY TO COUNT.
