nekare at 11:19pm on 14/05/2014I was about to order This One Summer by Mariko and Jillian Tamaki, because some comics deserve to be read physically, and I thought, what the hell, let's get some more. I've long wanted to complete my collection of Brian Michael Bendis' run on Daredevil, but it's out of print and it was only when I ordered from three party vendors that I realized they were charging fucking 35 dlls in shipping for a 10 dlls book. WHAT. NO.
I backtracked pretty fast. So I'm ordering Nextwave even though it's unavailable at the moment, but that comes from Amazon and the shipping is like 5 dlls. For whenever it comes, I guess. Also getting some Fables trades. I'm so so behind on Fables, I suck.
UGH. Why are comics so expensive? Why do I earn so little? I really wanna support the new Black Widow series, too, but the trade isn't coming out until July, boo. I dislike paying 4dlls for a single issue with shitty paper and ads enough, I'm so not paying that for digital.
